Hair Extensions
You can have any length you want up to 18” -22”. The Best looking hair extensions for average height women are usually around 22” or less.
The most popular length is 18” which is to your bra line.
Most Extensions, last approximately 2 months for micro-cylinder technique, Then an adjustment is needed on the micro-cylinder method. It is the clients choice for how often each hair extension is kept and re-applied.
Every 4-6 weeks (average) for Hair locks/ Dreamcatchers technique .Your own hair will have grown about 1 to 1 ½ Inches. At this time you will need to return to your stylist and have them re-adjusted.
You look after Hair Extensions the same as you would do long hair that you grew yourself. Here are a few tips:
- Shampoo, Condition and MOISTURIZE (very important) your hair every 1-2 days. The extensions do not receive your natural scalp oils and need to have moisture added every wash. We recommend that you only use the best hair products for your hair extensions.
- Treat them with respect. They will not grow back if you yank at them with a brush, burn them with a blow dryer, or damage them with chemicals. Be nice to them- they cost a lot of money so make sure you get your money’s worth.
- Always brush out all the knots before you wash your hair, swim, or sleep. Start at the bottom and work your way up slowly using a paddle brush.
